It’s a few days after our appearance at downtown State College’s Pop Up Ave and we had an absolute blast being there! Traveling up from humid Virginia climate, we welcomed the slight chill in the Pennsylvania air as we set up our tent (and at least not too windy this time) and prepared for a day of sock selling! This is always a fun market for us to vend at, and we were pleased to meet old and new customers, as well as catch up with our fellow vendors. A big shout out and thanks (for being so organized and friendly!) to the creators of Pop Up Ave, Andrea and Brad – yay for being amazing!
Who else did we see at Pop Up Ave? Well, we bought a tee from Stay Apparel (you’ve got to check ’em out!) and some cards from Gathering Mountain – they’re so cool! Anyway, there were tons of other things we wanted to buy…but we’ve got to save some holiday shopping for later, right?! Some other products we’ve got our eyes on for gift-giving: coffee lip balm from Still Not A Hippie, some mountain-themed goods from Reconstruct Wood ….oh, there’s so many more vendors we love!
After the show, we grabbed some local eats, then headed back to sunny Virginia – ready for another week of sock fun, and preparing for our next show (local here in Williamsburg, Va is 2nd Sundays coming up October 14th!) Come join us, and we’ll chat about our faves after the show! We’re also gearing up for our next round of sampling; we’ve gotten some great feedback to add more colorful patterns and we’re getting comfortable with adding some ‘wilder’ designs in the future! Keep the good vibes coming!
Until next time, “Wear Good Socks, Do Good Things.”
